RenegadeMagazine.comyears. After looking at EVERY site online, calling the local
offices, I found there was nothing I could do but order the
same contact but in clear. I thought I was going to die, I
thought my world was falling apart, that my whole identity
was going down the drain, and that people would stop and
ask me what happened to my green eyes........
You know what happened? When I took the green con-
tacts out and put in a clear and looked at my natural eyes
up close- my eyes were already GREEN and here I was
paying DOUBLE for green contacts. I even put a green
one in and a clear in the other eye and absolutely no differ-
ence. I feel like a FOOL for wasting all of that money. But
in the end I am pleased that I still have green eyes.
I read in an article last night that the average AMERICAN
has 19 pairs of shoes!!!! WHAT???? The only logical
answer would have to be that only “average’ women had
completed the survey. Just shows you how the “facts”
can be distorted. I am now down to two pair of shoes which
are both steel toed boots, after selling the other two, for you
guessed it- motorcycle parts. Since I am now running an open
belt primary on my Panhead, I need to look into some tall boots
so that my leg doesn’t get caught in the belt. My chiropractor is
already pissed at the rigid bikes I choose to ride; I won’t tell him
about the open primary- he will say that that is “Dangerous”.
I didn’t realize until looking back at the previous issues of Ren-
egade that I am wearing the SAME shirt in almost all of the
photos. I mentioned this to Gabe and he replied “That’s cause
you sold all of your clothes to buy car parts”.
Then we both started laughing……
