Dan Falconer was introduced by his Pop’s to low-
brow/hot rod art at around 8 year of age, with Cartoons
Magazine iron ons and die cast hot rods. Other influ-
ences include: 90’s album art, Ralph Snart comics,
80’s Saturday morning cartoons, Heavy Metal Maga-
zine, Madballs, Garbage pail kids and an Endless list
of B-movies. At 14 one of his first Airbrush pieces was
accepter into a local Art show. The piece was removed
immediately due to subject matter (20+ years later and
his father still has the 4x4 foot piece). Dan attended The
Art Institute of Vancouver to pursue a career in 3d ani-
mation. After a short stint in the Industry he realized this

life altering injury put him in a hospital bed for eleven months
and his life would change forever. During my hospital stay his
wife brought him an art pad and a pack of Bic ™ pens. Some
of his early 2013 pieces were scribbled from a hospital bed and
later brought into Photoshop™ for line clean up and color.
