Time just keeps ticking away!

I always under estimate how long

it’s going to take me to do some-

thing; I guess I’m just to optimistic

about abilities. In the last issue I was

trying to get my bike done for bike

week, but with all I had on my plate I

was not able to pull it off. Since then

I made some custom exhaust pipes,

using Lowbrow Customs, exhaust kit. I

also welded on a bracket for my cool oil

filter, another lowbrow product, allowing

me to figure out how to run my oil lines

and weld in the bung fittings in the oil tank.

I also cut off the fork stop on the stock triple

trees and installed a set steering cups with

internal fork stops for a cleaner look.

The bike is almost done with the exception

of installing the transmission and clutch

installation, wiring and paint. But my big-

gest challenge is to figure out how to con -

vert the stock drum break setup to a hy-

draulic sprotor brake the problem is how

and where to mount the master cylinder

and still keep the stock mid controls.
