great there too. And yes, ladies there are vendors set

up at many of the bars in Cave Creek too, so you can

get your shopping addiction fix while you’re soaking up

the old west scenery and enjoying the funky coolness all

around...

The riding throughout the whole area is absolutely breath-

taking, with towering Saguaro cacti all around with their

arms outstretched reaching for the desert sun. They

almost seem to be waving at you as you ride along the

winding roads through the desert valleys and up into the

surrounding hills and canyons. Locals warn you to watch

out for wildlife like the small hairy feral pigs called jave-

linas that can be a serious road hazard for a biker. All

around me, I can feel the history, in the air. I feel like I’m a

character in a David Mann painting, with my hair flowing

in the hot dusty wind, Easy Rider style. On days like this,

I really am living the dream! Sometimes it ain’t so bad

being a Renegade, LOL!
