I found the frame behind a shed on a tip by a friend.
I think it`s an All Soul from the 70`s. It had a locked
up Honda 750four on it. So I took it to my brother
from another mother, Jeff`s house who had a little
shop, 80 miles away...long trip home at 2am. I then
bought an Evo 1200 for it but it just didn`t have the
right look after a while...so I shafted a local lawyer
out of an 82 Ironhead who had taken it for payment,
and we were on our way. We didn’t have a “theme”
in mind...just wanted to get it goin’. I was bend-
ing the curly seat pan supports and Jeff said “That
looks awful sissy” and I said “No it don`t...looks like
Snidely Whiplash`s mustache.” Theeennn the juic-
es got to flowing and the ideas got to coming. Ya
see, I`m the idea man and Jeff makes it happen...
that`s the way we`ve been ever since we were
younguns. You push down on the dynamite plunger
and the flames blow out the pipes. You pull up to a
stop sign and the Grandeur Cycles automatic clutch
makes it go to idle. It’s got a Jockey shifter from an
old sickle that jams the 4speed tranny. Snidely is a
blast to ride; however the best part of the build was
the experience with my brother.
Peace,
