Reliability run another good ol time was had cruising the

streets with the Derelicts CC, during their annual Hot Rod

Reliability Run, to collect dog food and donations benefit -

ing animal charity/rescue groups of Central Florida.

After driving around 80 miles me and Hell Billy along with

his crew of Gasket Goons, arrived at the starting point

for this years ride ready to rock -n-roll! The starting point

was the Exploration Tower in Port Canaveral. I got to get

a birds eye view when club president aka Elvis invited

me up to the top of the tower for a few pics of everyone

in the parking lot.

Our next stop was at Paddy Cassidy’s Irish Pub, where

we caught up with my good friend Lucky from the Hard

Luck crew.

Unfortunately just as everyone was getting into the

groove, Johnny Law had to show up and harsh every-

one’s buzz, by first harassing the over flow crowd out side

the bar, threatening $100 open container tickets. Then

they proceeded to patrol the parking lot checking tags.

So after that everyone decided to move on to the next

stop, The Sebastian Beach Inn, in Melbourne.

It was about this time I realized I forgot to bring my spare

battery for my camera and my battery had just died. So

all of the photos in this spread were shot with my iPhone

4s, so they are a bit more grainy than my regular camera,

but over all not bad for a phone. It was at this stop many

grabbed a bit to eat at the bar while the rest of us mingled

among the cars in the lot telling stories, while having a

few more cold ones.

Then it was on to Lou’s Blues in Indiatlantic for the final

stop of the run where me and Bill had our first meal of

the day, and from here on it all gets a little blurry, all I

remember is going to the after party, doing shots called

Black Cadillac’s, and something about me dropping a

beer bottle in front of some midget back at the hotel by

the pool... As Ronald Reagan once said, “I don’t recall

that incident”...
