Born Free 10
This was the second time I’ve been to the Born Free
show out in California; the first time was just as a spec-
tator/photo jockey. This year I came back as an artist/
vendor. It was my first time out of Florida with my new
Church of Chop booth. Needless to say, I wasn’t sure
how it would all go... We got there late for set up, and
they have a fairly strict rule of having you off the prop-
erty by 4 pm on set up day. I was a bit stressed out that
day; fortunately, we were able to get most of it set up
and shove the rest in the tent so we could finish up in
the morning. The next day started off a bit rocky scram-
bling to finish it all. Once we got all our shit together
everything went very well from there.
Everyone seemed to truly enjoy themselves; lots of
positive comments and best of all, lots of sales! The
best part was I sold a little bit of almost everything I had
in stock, from t-shirts to large art prints. It was a good
day!
The next day I invited my favorite California girl, Corina
Cline out for a photo shoot. She wasn’t going to arrive
until later in the afternoon, so I had time in the morning
to check out all the cool bikes and wander around a
bit. After checking out all the other cool stuff to see, I
headed back to my booth where my awesome woman
was racking up the sales!
Of course, after Corina showed up the party was on! I
had a good time roaming around the grounds snapping
pics of this Mohawk goddess, with all the cool bikes and
attendees. Overall it was a great time and a great suc-
cess.
I’m really looking forward to going back this year!
Hope you enjoy the photos!
Kick it!
